This is the initiative I am most excited about. And it's the initiative I have the most experience with.
We have a declining population.
We have brain drain.
We have a lower than Ohio average median household income.
All of this is fixed with jobs.
Small businesses are the leading creator of new jobs in America.
Together we can teach people how to start businesses, employ people and make Akron one of the coolest places to live in America.
I have a lot of thoughts on how to make this happen. But I wanted to get this out here so you can start to get a feeling for what I have in mind.
